Oregon City is located 15 miles south of Portland at the convergence of the Clackamas and Willamette rivers. Located 20 miles from Portland International Airport. Oregon City is home to a wide variety of historical and cultural attractions like Willamette Falls and the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center.

The Pioneer spirit is strong in Oregon City and can be felt throughout the school district. Two middle schools feed the roughly 2000 student Oregon City High School, which is home to the Pioneers. Typically, school starts the first week in September and ends the second week in June.
